What's amazing is that their father doesn't especially like cats. He only agreed to allow the kids to have a cat after their Grandpa died to help them with their grieving. The one who's devastated the most is the kids' father. He's lost without that cat. It's amazing how an animal in the house can become a part of the family in no time at all.
I made this photo "just in case". It's too bad I wasn't able to make one of Jerry, but the cats are only a few months old, and I never met Jerry.
The kids love this photo, and since they have a link to Grammy's photo blog, I'm sure they'll be pleased to see Tom on it tonight.
This is for you all, Nick, Nathan, Noah, Austin and Alexis; Grammy loves you! XOXOXOXO

I can understand how the father who never wanted the cats in the first place felt.
Yes, Jason, he was pretty sad. He had a really hard time with it.
You know I am a cat person so it was sad for me to hear this story. Nice picture of Tom, he is a handsome fellow. Glad to hear he stays inside and safe now.
I know what you mean, Jim. The people next door had a really nice cat, but they kept him outside. We live on the water and now the cat has disappeared. I can only imagine what happened to the poor thing.
People need to keep their cats indoors where it is safe; especially in Florida near water.
Thank you for taking the time to comment.
Tom is a lucky cat to have so many adoring children and fans. Nice photo, Loyce. You captured an expression cats love to give, Well, if you must..."
Thank you, Margo. He's such a nice cat. They also have what we think is their father, we don't know the mother. I'm not sure where they got the cat in the first place. I think they were dropped off.
